Remember to listen and watch the first 2 parts carefully so you can do the last part on your own. (tips: Word Document activity, final part (Fall Changes), it says to highlight the paragraph, but you need to highlight everything including the title to change the size. All other parts make sure you follow the directions, like how many tools to use in the paint activity or to insert a new slide and make it a title slide. Also make sure your caps lock is not on. 3rd Grade - Please put the Online Games page up on your computer before you leave to help out the Kindergarten class coming in after you.
132 - Substitute please use the projector (hooked up to Computer 31) to demonstrate navigating a webpage. I like to have the students sit on the floor in front of it. Model clicking on a website link on the online games page (choices are PBS Kids, Starfall, Sesame Street, and ABCya) Ask questions like "Where do you think I could click to find the games page?" "Where should I click to go to the main page?" "What should I click on when I'm done with the game?" "How can I go back to the Classroom Website to pick a new website?" Things to show them: Back Button, Don't click on Print, How to find the word Games on a page (point out what letter it starts with), How to click on icons they recognize in the webpage (think the PBS icon that will take them back to the main site)
302 - Continue with your typing unit. Complete as many levels as you can today, no Finished Early till the last 10 minutes. We don't know if we will be able to do typing again this quarter. Remember to not look at your hands, look at the onscreen keyboard if you need to, it helps train your brain. Please return all sound to normal at the end of class.
