Welcome to the new Sawyer Computer Class website design. Notice the new page buttons at the top. Grade levels now have a page with all of their current learning activities to be completed as learning units.
K & 1 and 2 & 3 will be learning about the basics of a computer and using the different applications available
4 & 5 will be starting a 5 week course of touch typing to improve their skills and speed
7 & 8 are having class in their homerooms and will begin typing when MAP testing is over
Other new pages in the class website are the "Finished Early" page that tells you all your options for what you can do if you finish your activities or projects early and the "E-Books" page with a very large amount of links to free E-Books you can read online. Check out the updated "Class Links" page to see some new Internet Research resources! Typing game links have been added to the bottom for the "Online Games" page.
